Throughout the evening, Russian missile and drone strikes have caused electricity outages in multiple districts of Ukraine's capital, Kyiv.

Nine people were wounded while local people in eastern neighborhoods were experienced blackouts and faced disruption to drinking water, per reports from city officials.

At the same time, a seven-year-old child was fatally injured in a separate aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southern area, based on information from local officials.

Russian forces has increased attacks on electrical systems over the past few days, while the country's government has demanded "concrete actions" from international partners to increase pressure on Russia.

"What is required is not superficial actions but decisive action - from the US, Europe and the Group of Seven - in providing defensive weapons and applying restrictions," mentioned in a public message.

Officials stated that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and more than 30 missiles struck the country's power systems, characterizing such attacks as "strategic and deliberate" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as the weather cools.

Government representatives said Russia was "conducting extensive attacks" and repair crews were striving to fix the damage.

A wave of strikes hit energy infrastructure and residential structures in the capital.

Multiple people wounded in the strikes on the city have been transported for medical care, per statements from city authorities.

Area administrators said the urban area endured intense attacks throughout the evening. A minor was killed and several individuals were injured.

The strikes follow periods of aerial attacks in the territory, portions of which are currently controlled by Moscow's military.

The whole nation is under warning for advanced weapon attacks, which are more difficult to detect.

National leaders told the media that Moscow was intentionally trying to damage the country's energy grid, with assaults already disrupting fuel infrastructure.

Authorities confirmed technical personnel and authorities were preparing for more assaults.
